Hi my name is BlueBelle,
It made me sad to see my friends in Kenya who didnt have enough for food, clothes or school supplies.
I told my mum I wanted to help.
So I asked my Kenyan village friends to make some of their special hand made African bracelettes.
People loved them so much it has now become a Micro Business for the local village.

OUR STORY
When BlueBelle first arrived in Africa she could not understand why her little African play friends were so much smaller and less developed than her.
Their clothes were torn and they lived in appalling circumstances, unable to afford nutritious food and school fee's.
The village we stayed in was very poor but it was near the ocean. So BlueBelle asked two important questions;
"Why are no grown ups helping these children?"
"Why can’t they catch fish and sell them to make money?"
We were shocked to learn that pollution and over fishing meant the fish did not come close to the shore anymore.
Too poor to buy boats, nets, fishing line, good food and school supplies, their children literally starved in sight of food. BlueBelle's response was simple.
"This is so easy to fix Mum. The food is in the water, we just have to help them get it out."
HER SOLUTION:- She noticed her young friends made beautiful handmade bracelets and sold them at the side of the road.
"Why don’t I get ALL MY FRIENDS around the world to sell these bracelets so my African friends can afford what they need to catch fish."
IT WAS SO SIMPLE. ................And it WORKED!!!
Her friends LOVED the idea.
Now they too had a chance to help some people in great need, learn about Micro Business and have their own little enterprise.
